Certified divers
Experience the PADI Discover Local Diving program, which includes an ecological briefing, highlighted by interesting facts about endemic species found only in Hawaii. This experience can also serve as a refresher for the rusty diver or the inexperienced diver. Discover Local Diving can also cover specialty dives for the advanced diver, including lava tube dives, night dives and deep dive.
Discover Kauai Scuba Diving / First Time Scuba Divers
Join us at our dive shop for a short yet fun classroom session and safety briefing. Then a dip in our beautiful pool to get acquainted with the equipment and practice four important safety skills including equalization, mask clearing, regulator clearing and recovery, and alternate air source use. Once the divers are comfortable in the pool, they will be ready for a one or two tank dive. The classroom and pool lesson can also be completed beachside on the North Shore at the dive site in calm, pool-like conditions for North Shore customers.
North Shore Divers offers 3-5 day PADI certification classes which include open water, advanced open water, rescue diver and dive master courses. All classes include scuba gear, air fills, books, and instruction.
