Discover Scuba Diving (Introductory Experience)
P.A.D.I Discover Scuba Diving. Kauai’s sea world offers an experience of a lifetime for first time scuba divers. An experienced PADI Instructor will take you on a phenomenal shore dive and will guide you to see some of Kauai’s amazing sea life. Encounter rare dragon eels, green sea turtles, octopi, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and sea creatures that are endemic to Hawaiian waters during this 40 to 60 minute guided introductory dive tour. The undersea environment offers a phenomenal reef and ecosystem. Visibility is approximately 70 to 100 feet. This trip is for someone who has not had any scuba diving experience. P.A.D.I. Instructors will demonstrate by using a P.A.D.I. Discover Scuba Diving flip chart to educate in clear basic concepts the use of scuba equipment, breathing techniques, water pressure, equalization, mask clearing, regulator recovery and clearing while under water (demonstrations are not limited to items listed). A pictorial sea life orientation session is featured to enable divers to have knowledge of what they are seeing in their experience under sea. Assistance is provided with scuba gear and entry into the water. Practice of techniques demonstrated occurs in 3 to 4 feet of water until all divers are comfortable. Our Instructor’s take the fear out of the unknown by providing personal instruction based upon individual needs. We provide assistance exiting the water and with equipment removal. A group discussion exemplifying our extraordinary adventure with soft drinks and snacks tops off our tour. Safety, customer satisfaction and an exhilarating experience for first time divers is required!

All divers must call the night before to confirm the diving location.

Certified tour
A single tank guided tour of Kauai’s phenomenal reef and ocean ecosystem. This tour is for divers who are certified. We accept certification cards from all recognized training agencies. The certified diver will go thru Kascuba’s informative pictorial fish and marine life orientation and then go an amazing adventure. The certified diver(s) will arrive at the dive site and complete all the required paperwork and provide proof of certification. A short training brief will be conducted on Kascuba’s SCUBA equipment used for the dive. A review of the spectacular and unique marine life you’ll be seeing during the dive. Kascuba will assist the certified divers into the scuba equipment, head into the water and go on a 45 to 80 min tour. You will see a ocean full of sea life which will include Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, Exotic and Endemic species of Fish, Morays, Shrimps and Octopus. When the dive gets close to the caution zone, we will surface and return to shore. The instructor will review with the diver(s) on all the sea life that was seen. Kascuba offers refreshments and snacks at the end of all dive tours.
